NMC Horizon Report > 2015 K-12 Edition Wiki

Welcome to the workspace for the 2015 Horizon.K12 Project. This space was place for the members of the Horizon.K12 panel of experts to manage the process of researching, discussing, and ultimately, selecting the topics for the NMC Horizon Report > 2015 K-12 Edition. The annual K12-focused report, which summarizes the qualitative research was conducted on this wiki, and the K12 Project as a whole is led by the The New Media Consortium, in collaboration with the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN).

The report was published in June at the 2015 NMC Summer Conference, and focuses on emerging technology and its applications to K-12 education. 2015 was the seventh edition of the annual publication. Download the NMC Horizon Report > 2014 K-12 Education Edition!.

Horizon.K12 is a project that applies the process developed for the New Media Consortium's Horizon Project to the identification of trends and challenges relevant to elementary and secondary learning institutions, and to clarifying key emerging technologies that are sure to impact the sector. Members of the K-12 education community are encouraged to follow the panel of expert's progress as the discussion unfolds and to use the wiki as a resource and reference tool.
